What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Provide exemplary customer service to users via phone, chat, and email
  • Assist customers with various software and tools, including NetID and DUO accounts
  • Collaborate with DoIT staff to resolve customer inquiries and ensure case resolution
  • Participate in ongoing training and skill development opportunities
  • Work as part of a diverse team of students passionate about customer service
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Must be enrolled and registered as a student in the greater Madison area for the duration of employment
  • Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours/week, with at least 8 hours between 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Thursday
  • Willingness to work during Summer 2026
  • Attention to detail and a strong desire to learn
  • No prior experience necessary; all training will be provided
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience in customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting software/hardware and internet connectivity
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills with other student employees and full-time staff
