Airline Customer Service Agent
An airline customer service agent is responsible for assisting travelers with ticket purchases, flight inquiries, seating arrangements, special needs accommodations, and making the travel experience as pleasant as possible.
Responsibilities- Assist customers with ticket purchases and flight information.
- Process seating requests, special meal arrangements, and upgrade requests.
- Help passengers with special needs, including handicapped travelers and children traveling without parents.
- Check passenger tickets, direct boarding procedures, and provide boarding assistance.
- Perform cabin security checks and make announcements as necessary.
- Handle luggage processing for passengers.
- Maintain courteous and professional service during all customer interactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior customer‑service experience preferred; paid training available for candidates without experience.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Typing proficiency.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
