What We Are Looking For:An individual with the ability to work independently to perform the initial analysis and processing of informal complaints for the Division Legal Services and Compliance.
Where We Are Located:This position is headquartered at the Hill Farms State Office Building in Madison, WI. Following a successful training period, this position allows the option to work remotely up to 3 days per week. All employees are generally expected to work within the State of Wisconsin. This position will be required to come into the office for training, meetings and/or operational needs.

Position SummaryThis Consumer Complaint Program Associate position is responsible for the initial analysis and processing of informal complaints received by the Division of Legal Services and Compliance against health, business, and trade professionals. This position performs administrative tasks with substantial independence in decision making and task scheduling and communicates with internal and external customers each day. Under demanding time constraints, this position is also required to produce accurate documents and maintain precise records for the complaint tracking system.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Analyze and record informal complaints received by the Division of Legal Services and Compliance
- Manage the progression of complaints through the initial review process
- Organize and coordinate screening panel meetings
- Process the opening and closing of complaints following screening
- Evaluate and implement best practices and procedures relating to the Unit and assigned professions
This position is in schedule-range (02-11) with an
hourly rateof $25.04, plus excellent benefits
. A twelve month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.
