Why This Role is ImportantThe Hygiene Assistant supports Dental Hygienists and the clinical team by helping maintain efficient patient flow, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, supporting infection control standards, and creating a positive patient experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and wants to grow within the dental field.
What You Would Do• Prepare and clean treatment rooms between patients
• Escort patients to hygiene appointments
• Assist hygienists with charting and patient flow
• Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and infection control standards
• Stock supplies and maintain organized operatories
• Support patient comfort and provide excellent customer service
• Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams
• Assist with clinic opening and closing duties
What We Would Like• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous dental or healthcare experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and grow within the organization

Physical Requirements• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
• Ability to bend, reach, twist, and move quickly between operatories
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
• Manual dexterity required for handling dental instruments and equipment
• Ability to work in a clinical environment with exposure to cleaning agents, dental materials, and clinical sounds
• Ability to maintain focus and professionalism in a fast-paced patient care environment
