Why This Role is Important:The Hygiene Assistant supports Dental Hygienists and the clinical team by helping maintain efficient patient flow, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, supporting infection control standards, and creating a positive patient experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and wants to grow within the dental field.
What You Would Do:- Prepare and clean treatment rooms between patients
- Escort patients to hygiene appointments
- Assist hygienists with charting and patient flow
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and infection control standards
- Stock supplies and maintain organized operatories
- Support patient comfort and provide excellent customer service
- Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams
- Assist with clinic opening and closing duties
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous dental or healthcare experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
