Artisan Dental is an award winning, locally owned, general dentistry practice in Madison, WI looking to add a part-time hygienist to our practice. We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team. This role is ideal for a licensed professional who is passionate about preventative care, patient education, and building lasting relationships with patients. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality clinical care.

We are looking to hire for a PRN schedule from mid-October through December 2026, with approximately 25 shifts currently available and the potential for additional shifts.

Beginning January 1, 2027, the schedule would transition to Mondays and Thursdays, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Beginning April 1, 2027, the schedule would transition to a consistent Monday and Tuesday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
• Conduct periodontal charting and thorough patient assessments
• Take and review digital radiographs (X-rays)
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventative treatments
• Identify and communicate areas of concern to the doctor
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
• Create a comfortable and positive experience for patients

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the applicable state required
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
