Senior Architectural Designer

What You'll Do

• Lead residential design projects including custom homes, additions, and remodeling projects from concept through construction.
• Guide clients through the design process, helping them translate ideas into practical and inspiring solutions.
• Develop architectural drawings, construction documents, and 3D presentations.
• Collaborate with in‑house construction professionals, trusted consultants, and our team of subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Balance design goals, budgets, schedules, and construction requirements while maintaining client satisfaction.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to junior designers and team members.
• Participate in project planning, problem‑solving, and quality review throughout all phases of work.

• 8+ years of residential architectural design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating custom homes, additions, and remodeling projects.
• Experience leading projects from initial client meetings through construction completion.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency with architectural CAD/BIM and 3D modeling software.
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods, detailing, and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Architectural licensure or active pursuit of licensure.
• Experience mentoring or leading design team members.
• Familiarity with Wisconsin residential codes and residential construction practices.
• Experience with Vectorworks or similar software.

• Lead meaningful residential projects from concept through construction.
• Work in a collaborative design‑build environment where designers and builders work together to achieve exceptional results.
• Build strong, long‑term relationships with clients and help bring their vision to life.
• Mentor talented team members and contribute to the growth of our design practice.
