This position is primarily performed in an office or hybrid environment and may require travel to project sites, other Shive-Hattery office locations or to meet with clients. A full clean drivers license is required. The role involves sitting, standing, and working at a computer for extended periods. May also require lifting light to medium weight objects of up to 50 lbs.,

What you'll do

As an architect in the Food + Pharmaceutical Market, you will be collaborating with multi-disciplined teams within the Industrial Business Unit and across the entire Shive-Hattery ecosystem on local, regional, and national projects. We are a full-service design firm offering interior design, architecture, engineering, and landscape architecture. In this role, you will lead architectural design and project management efforts for projects serving primarily industrial, healthcare, and higher education clients:

* Lead the architectural design and project management with design discussions, idea generation, collaboration, and design work in drawing, modeling and 3D image formats.

* Direct non-licensed and other professionals assigned to design, produce, and coordinate the design process, laboratory and manufacturing planning, and technical documents.

* Attend project and client meetings with design professionals for both business development opportunities and projects under contract.
