Our client, an industrial building fabricator, is seeking a Mechanical CAD Design Supervisor to join the Design Engineering Team supporting Manufacturing. The role involves coordinating the daily operations of the CAD team, ensuring high‑quality technical drawings, models, and documentation that support engineering, manufacturing, and project delivery. This position requires leadership, technical expertise, workflow management, and cross‑department collaboration to maintain accuracy, consistency, and efficiency across all design outputs.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of CAD designers and drafters.
• Assign workloads, balance priorities, and ensure timelines are met.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development.
• Develop a collaborative, solutions‑focused, team environment.
• Review drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and industry standards.

• Proven experience as a CAD Designer, Drafter, or similar role, with progression into leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, drafting standards, and design documentation.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage numerous projects and timelines simultaneously.
