Overview
Employer Industry: Academic Research in Aquatic Ecosystems

- Free housing available for students working in Northern Wisconsin

- Gain hands-on experience in research and outreach

- Participate in research and data collection related to aquatic ecosystems
- Assist in communication and outreach efforts to educate the public
- Support various projects in ecology and limnology at the Hasler Laboratory and Trout Lake Station
- Work full-time, typically Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
- Engage in teamwork and collaboration with faculty and other students
- Must be available to work full-time from mid/end of May to mid/end of August 2026
- Relevant coursework or experience in ecology, limnology, chemistry, or related fields
- Ability to work in various outdoor environments and conditions
- Strong communication skills for outreach and educational purposes
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace
- Previous experience in research or fieldwork related to aquatic ecosystems
- Familiarity with data analysis or scientific reporting
- Interest in public education and community engagement initiatives
- Background in communication or outreach programs
- Enthusiasm for working in collaborative, team-oriented settings
