Madison Waldorf School seeks an active and knowledgeable Early Childhood teacher of children age 2 ½ - 4 years for the school year.
The ideal candidate has classroom experience, an understanding of children and child development, and an enthusiasm for the Waldorf curriculum that is complemented by their ability to work well with parents and colleagues. Candidates must possess at minimum a bachelor’s degree and candidates who are Waldorf trained or actively engaged in Waldorf training are preferred.

Founded in 2007, our school serves 55 children in Early Childhood and the Grades program. Newly relocated near the University of Wisconsin Arboretum, our students enjoy the outdoors in all seasons. Our grades curriculum includes German and Russian Languages, Music, Choir, Rock Band, Movement, and Handwork. In addition, we have a parent/child program to introduce young families to Waldorf education. Madison Waldorf School is an associate school with AWSNA(Association of Waldorf Schools of North America) and in progress to become a full member of WECAN (Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America) this year.
The school is located in the vibrant city of Madison Wisconsin, home to the state capital and the flagship campus of the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Located on an isthmus and lands surrounding four lakes, our city is a rich intellectual and cultural environment. Neighborhood festivals and cultural events of all types abound, and this small city of 280,000 people is truly a place where there is always something to see and do.
