The QTI Group is partnering with a Madison-based client to hire an Instructional Designer. This one-year contract position plays a critical role in supporting learning and development initiatives across the organization. Centered around the ADDIE training approach, the Instructional Designer will be required to translate a variety of complex processes and system changes into clear, concise and consistent training material, for both virtual and in-person audiences.
LocationRemote. Candidates must reside in Wisconsin and preference will be given to candidates in the greater Madison area.
Additional DetailsThis is a one-year contract position.
Responsibilities- Design and develop training materials including e-learning materials, job aids, reference guides and instructor-led content
- Prepare facilitators and support training delivery – tailoring training materials to various and diverse audiences
- Align content with departmental training strategies
- Ensure materials are optimized for both virtual and in-person training
- Translate technical and process knowledge into learner-friendly content
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education or similar field required
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design, preferably supporting large scale implementations
