Communications Specialist
As part of the UW Department of Radiology’s communications team, the communications specialist will join the communications manager, another communications specialist, and a web operations manager in creating compelling content for a variety of external and internal audiences. Primary responsibilities include writing articles that translate complex scientific and clinical work into effective narratives; developing monthly newsletters and slides for internal communications;
working with subject matter experts on effective web content; contributing to web strategy and editorial planning; and maintaining a social media presence. A successful candidate will be a motivated, detail-oriented, and creative professional who can collaborate with stakeholders while independently managing multiple concurrent projects. We seek someone enthusiastic about learning about radiology and dedicated to growing as a communications professional.
- This position may require some work to be performed in‑person, on campus. Some work may be performed remotely.
