Gan HaYeled Preschool Teachers

Gan HaYeled Preschool is seeking two warm, engaged, and reliable teachers to join our afternoon team from 12:00-5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be available based on interest.

These teachers will support children and classrooms during the transition into rest time, throughout the nap period, and during the late afternoon.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting classrooms from 12:00-1:00 and helping transition children to rest time
• Partnering with another teacher during nap to maintain a calm, positive, and nurturing environment
• Providing activities or outdoor play for children who are not napping
• Transitioning children to snack and supporting dismissal for those leaving at 3:30 PM
• Caring for children who remain until 5:00 PM, ensuring a safe and engaging environment throughout the afternoon

We welcome experienced early childhood educators, as well as emerging educators who have a passion for working with young children. Ideal candidates:

• Are calm, consistent, and warm in their interactions
• Work collaboratively with teaching partners
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and families

Gan HaYeled Preschool is an integrated, play-based program rooted in Jewish values and a strong commitment to children’s social and emotional well-being. We are a Program-Wide Pyramid Model Implementation Site, meaning our teaching practices intentionally support children’s social, emotional, and behavioral development.
