Description

We are currently looking for dedicated, caring, energetic candidates to join our vital team of floats at Kids Junction! Both part and full-time positions are available.

Who We Are: Mission of Kids Junction - Partnering with families to build strong mind, body and Christlike Character.

Kids Junction is a large established early childhood center with over 20 years of serving families in Madison, WI and surrounding communities. We are licensed by the State of Wisconsin for 295 children aged 6 weeks through 5 years, plus 100 school age children. We are passionate about providing a nurturing, play-based learning environment, rooted in Christian principles, that supports the social, emotional and academic development of young children.

Our center has the following classrooms:

• 7 Infant/Toddler
• 9 Early Preschool
• 4 Preschool
• 3 4K
• 6 After School

We are conveniently located inside the Princeton Club on Madison's west side. Our location gives prime access to bus lines, the belt line, and bike trails. Our beltline access connects most nearby neighborhoods and towns in 10-15 minutes! Madison consistently ranks among the best in the nation for almost everything including fantastic bike trails, safe neighborhoods, great healthcare, excellent education, amazing music venues and diverse restaurants.

About the job: Floaters are vital to providing essential daily classroom and operational support to our center. This integral role works in multiple classes with all ages to help assist in the daily operations and needs of our center. Floats may also provide supervision outside of the classroom by utilizing our playgrounds and designated areas within the Princeton Club.

Our float roles include part and full time positions, which can range from morning to afternoon to full day shifts!

We're Looking for Candidates Who:

• Are flexible and easily adaptable
• Are demonstrated team players
• Love working with children of all ages
• Have a strong passion and calling to impact the lives of children
• Can easily build relationships with adults and children of all backgrounds
• Have the Infant/Toddler, Assistant Teacher and Lead Teacher course or be willing to complete necessary coursework
• Have experience working the fields of early childhood or education, especially in a licensed facility
• Currently hold a high school diploma or equivalent
