Job Summary

The Center for Patient Partnerships (CPP) seeks a lead Instructor to teach and supervise undergraduate experiential‑learning courses, which are at the heart of our Community Resource Navigator Program. This includes teaching about social determinants of health and structural systems, health advocacy and social justice, identifying and securing community resources, and referring to other organizations for legal, social, and financial issues impacting health.

In these courses, students learn a liberation model of service and how patients experience health and social service systems. Through supervised experiential learning shifts, students help clients address health‑harming social determinants by clearing barriers to health and wellness.

We do and teach health advocacy and resource navigation to transform health care to prioritize the well‑being of patients, families, and communities. Our staff is creative, collaborative, and dedicated to making health care work for each and all.
