The Department of Biological Sciences at Edgewood University invites applications for a part‑time adjunct instructor to teach Anatomy and Physiology 2 in the Fall of 2026. The incumbent will teach both lecture and lab components.
Course DescriptionThis course has a traditional face‑to‑face format managed through an online LMS. Lectures meet three days a week for one hour; each lab section meets for two hours per week. The course covers the structure and function of the endocrine, digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular, lymphatic, urinary, and reproductive systems of the human body.
ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will plan, implement, and grade formative and summative assessments. They will also work with other instructors to ensure alignment between sections.
Job QualificationsNecessary Education or
Work Experience:
- Master’s degree or ABD in biology or a closely related field;
PhD preferred. - Experience teaching Anatomy and Physiology is highly preferred.
