Under the direction of a site administrator, provide counseling and guidance services to students; manage the Counseling Services Program; identify and counsel students with special needs and behavioral social and school adjustment problems; make referrals to other community resources, support groups, and social service agencies as appropriate.
Education and Experience RequiredBachelor's Degree and prior job-related experience.
License, Certifications, Bonding and/or Testing RequiredValid Pupil Personnel Services Credential with an academic school counseling emphasis.
Contingent Upon Hire- Candidates must provide proof of a negative Tuberculosis (TB) reading (no older than 4 years).
- Pass a criminal background check by the Department of Justice and possibly by the FBI, and have a valid teaching credential/permit on file with the California Teaching Credential (CTC).
- AB‑2534 Employment History: must list all previous LEAs (Local Education Agencies) where employed using the provided link to the form.
