Job Summary:Teach Chem 327 or Chem 329 (Fundamentals of Analytical Science).
Duties include:
- Preparing course materials
- Presenting lectures
- Preparing, administering, and grading exams and homework
- Holding office hours
- Other related duties
This is a 50% appointment for the Fall 2026 semester.
KeyJob Responsibilities:
- Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
- Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
- Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance

Compensation:The minimum salary for this position is $50,000 per academic (9‑month) year, full time (100%). The actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and prorated based on the appointment duration and percentage.

Required Qualifications:- Previous experience teaching Chemistry is required.
- Previous experience teaching chemistry at the college/university level is preferred.
- PhD in Chemistry or related fields is required.
