Summer Camp Teacher
Tenney Preschool and Childcare is seeking a creative, energetic, and dependable Summer Camp Teacher to join our team for the summer season beginning by June 8th.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children in a hands-on, relationship-focused environment and can create engaging summer experiences filled with exploration, creativity, outdoor play, and fun.

Responsibilities- Plan and lead engaging summer activities and experiences for children
- Create a safe, positive, and nurturing classroom environment
- Supervise and actively engage with children throughout the day
- Support children's social-emotional growth through positive guidance and relationship-building
- Encourage creativity, exploration, outdoor play, and hands-on learning
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and licensing standards
- Communicate professionally with families and coworkers
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team and leadership
We are seeking someone who:
- Is energetic, dependable, and positive
- Enjoys being active and engaged with children throughout the day
- Has strong classroom management and leadership skills
- Can create fun and engaging summer experiences
- Values relationship-based and play-based learning
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Must be Lead Teacher qualified through Wisconsin licensing standards
- Previous childcare or preschool experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to actively engage with children indoors and outdoors throughout the day
