Children have a natural curiosity that lends itself to science, technology, math, and engineering. At Engineering For Kids, we inspire kids ages 4 to 14 to build on their innate desire for answers by exploring engineering concepts in a fun, hands-on way. We offer after school programs, evening classes, camps, birthday parties, and special events designed to present kids with challenging yet accessible engineering activities from which they can learn and grow.

Include, but are not limited to:

• Collect materials from and return materials to the designed storage areas
• Support the Lead Teacher in preparing supplies at the beginning of a program
• Encourage student involvement by ensuring students begin warm-up activities and assisting students on an individual basis
• Practice excellence in teaching when offering Engineering For Kids programs
• Ensure classes operate smoothly by conducting tasks such as observing and recording data during student tests, managing supplies during class, and assisting in demonstrations
• Provide appropriate instruction that considers the unique abilities of every student
• Constantly strive to improve instruction through reflection and evaluation
• Demonstrate initiative by seeking additional Engineering For Kids training and further education

Compensation: $30.00 - $30.00 per hour
