Lecturer
Teach General Chemistry or Organic Chemistry.
Duties include:
- Preparing course materials
- Presenting lectures
- Preparing, administering, and grading exams and homework
- Holding office hours
- Other related duties
This is a 100% appointment for the academic year. There is a possibility this position could be extended in subsequent semesters to teach General or Organic Chemistry, or similar courses, within the department. This position may become renewable if there is a need for an ongoing appointment.
Key
Job Responsibilities:
- Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
- Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
- Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance

Compensation:
The minimum salary for a full time (100%) position for an academic year (9months) is $50,000.
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience teaching Chemistry is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience teaching chemistry at the college/university level is preferred.
Education:
PhD in Chemistry or related fields is required
