The Madison Metropolitan School District is the second largest school district in Wisconsin. The district serves a beautifully diverse population of more than 25,000 students. Early Childhood (EC) PST CCIES
Purpose of Position:
This position will have a high degree of integrity, sustain a culture of continuous improvement, and be committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive work environment while having a growth mindset to a multi-faceted operation while having a focus on creating a positive work culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
- Skilled in oral and written communication, use of computerized programs specific to IDEA and assessment scoring and interpretation.
- Fluent in Spanish or other non-English Languages.
- Knowledgeable of Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards and child development to inform the IEP evaluation and program.
- Skilled in functional behavioral assessments and able to create behavior intervention plans utilizing positive behavioral interventions.
- Skilled in diagnostic teaching for students receiving early childhood services.
- Provides Professional Development on topical areas or individual students as documented in the IEP, models best practices, provide peer coaching and responds to staff/parent questions on IDEA policy and procedures.
- Ability to participate on District committees, project teams, staff development.
- Skilled in serving as LEA Representative on difficult or highly contentious cases.
- Ability to use data for evaluation and/or to monitor IEP program progress.
