Job Summary
Teach General Chemistry or Organic Chemistry. Duties include preparing course materials, presenting lectures, administering and grading exams and homework, holding office hours, and other related duties. This is a 100% appointment for the academic year. The position may be extended in subsequent semesters or become renewable if an ongoing appointment is needed.
Key Job Responsibilities- Serves as an initial point of contact for students regarding course content and expectations.
- Develops instructional design and curriculum for the course of instruction.
- Facilitates classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.

CompensationThe minimum salary for a full‑time (100%) position for an academic year (9 months) is $50,000.
Required QualificationsPrevious experience teaching Chemistry is required.
Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience teaching chemistry at the college/university level is preferred.
EducationPhD in Chemistry or related fields is required.
