The Department of Biological Sciences at Edgewood University invites applications for a full-time lecturer to teach anatomy and physiology and related courses for the 2026-27 academic year.
Course Descriptions- Anatomy and Physiology 1 (Bio
210) covers the study of structure and function of the cells, tissues, skin, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems of the human body. - Anatomy and Physiology 2 (Bio
211) covers the study of structure and function of the endocrine, digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular, lymphatic, urinary, and reproductive systems of the human body.
- Plan, implement, and grade formative and summative assessments in lecture and lab. Collaborate with other instructors to ensure alignment between different sections of a course. Manage courses via an online LMS (Canvas) and maintain an updated course site throughout the semester.
- Candidates must have a master’s degree or ABD in biology or a closely related field; a PhD is preferred.
- Experience teaching Anatomy and Physiology is highly preferred.
