Special Education Teacher – Madison, WI

Salary: $50,000.00 yearly

Ambrose Academy is seeking a Special Education Teacher with a background in math and/or Latin to support students with learning differences, particularly dyslexia, in Geometry, Algebra 2, and Latin. This position involves creating tailored lesson plans and adapting instruction to meet individual needs.

• Design and deliver differentiated instruction for students with dyslexia in geometry, algebra 2, and Latin.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Assess student progress and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Provide feedback to students and parents on academic growth.
• Attend professional development meetings focused on special education best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Special Education teacher license (state of Wisconsin).
• Minimum one year of experience teaching special education students.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of dyslexia interventions and math/language curriculum.
