We are seeking passionate individuals to join our team who share the same passion in serving this purpose. Under the supervision of the Associate Dean or designee, to teach college parallel psychology courses and other related courses as assigned. May require teaching courses at MATC campuses, business, community, other sites, and online during the day, evening, and/or weekend. Related duties include participation in department and advisory meetings, department and college functions, course and curriculum development in both traditional and non-traditional formats.

Prepare for and deliver instruction and perform teaching-related activities. Manage the classroom/laboratory. Develop curriculum and monitor and revise as appropriate to maintain course effectiveness; assist in program evaluation. Manage equipment, supplies and materials. Assess student performance and advise students on academic issues. Collaborate with the advisory committee in the program area. Attend departmental and institutional meetings. Promote the education/training program, participate in efforts to recruit and retain students, and participate in efforts to market MATC.

Support student organizations and activities. Develop relationships with business and industry. Complete program evaluation and follow-up. Maintain certification, continue professional development and stay current in the field. Perform other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements:

Must have a master's degree or higher in Psychology OR Master's degree which includes 18 GRADUATED level credits in relevant courses such as Psychology, Counseling, Therapy, and Clinical Social Work?

Preferred Qualifications In ADDITION to the Minimums Listed Above:
At least one (1) full semester (or two quarters) of teaching at the college level that includes graduate school teaching assistantship. Verifiable occupational work experience in a field other than education. Demonstrated ability to develop and update curriculum. Bilingual Spanish/English fluency (must be able to read, write and speak fluently in both languages). Must embrace and demonstrate Standards of Teaching Excellence and the MATC Career Essentials in development and delivery of instruction.

- Experience with Blackboard Ultra or other web-based course - management systems, Technology-based Instruction

- Experience with technology-based instructional delivery systems including SMART symposium, interactive touch screen monitors, LCD projectors, DVD players and/or other classroom technology, Emerging Technologies
- Experience with social networking applications)

Start Date:

This position supports the General Education Pathway and is available to start during the fall 2026 semester.

Hours:

This is a part-time faculty pool position. This is an "applicant pool" posting. Assignments are temporary, not guaranteed, can vary in hours/days, and will depend entirely on course availability and department needs each semester. All work must be performed in the state of Wisconsin; we do not have virtual opportunities for out of state residents. We are seeking candidates with flexibility to teach assignments to include any combination of the following:
