Support Human Ecologyundergraduate student experience by developing and supporting programmatic extra-curricular initiatives such asCo-Create research and evaluation experiences in the field,days of service andin-the-field/nonprofit site visits, alumni + current student networking and mentorship programming, refining student-focused events, and working with the Executive Director of theCommNSand the Director of OSP to continue to explore opportunities for students to interface and network with industry partners and find pathways to internship and employment opportunities.

Ultimately, thiswork in the limited term of employment willestablisha right-sized approach and slate of programming through which theCommNSto support, enhance, and growstudent-focusedprogram on an ongoing basis.

Key

Job Responsibilities:
  • Advises and enforces Institution policies related to services in Student Affairs
  • Monitors, evaluates, and modifies processes, procedures, and/or standards, ensuring alignment with the Institution's mission, values, goals, and objectives, as well as all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • May monitor the program budget and approve expenditures
  • Plans, organizes, administers, and manages processes and operations related to assigned area(s) of responsibility
  • Schedules logistics and secures resources to support the operational plans of the program or unit
  • Serves as the program or unit liaison to internal and external stakeholder groups
  • May exercise supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 FTE or equivalent employees

Compensation:

The starting salary for the position is $60,000(butis negotiable based on experience and qualifications).

This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding.

Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated working knowledge with undergraduate and graduate education in a university setting – including curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Professional experience andstrong demonstrated skillsin facilitation,managingstakeholder relations, development, and stewardship.

Demonstrated skills and/or professional work experienceinvolvingcommunity-engaged research activities and service learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant professional experience and/or formal education inhumanservices&civil societyandcommunityand nonprofit (third sector) studies, and human development and families.
