Job Summary: Support Human Ecology undergraduate student experience by developing and supporting programmatic extra-curricular initiatives such as Co-Create research and evaluation experiences in the field, days of service and in-the-field/ nonprofit site visits, alumni + current student networking and mentorship programming, refining student-focused events, and working with the Executive Director of the CommNS and the Director of OSP to continue to explore opportunities for students to interface and network with industry partners and find pathways to internship and employment opportunities.
Ultimately, this work in the limited term of employment will establish a right-sized approach and slate of programming through which the CommNS to support, enhance, and grow student-focused program on an ongoing basis.

Compensation: The starting salary for the position is $60,000 (but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding.

Required Qualifications: Demonstrated working knowledge with undergraduate and graduate education in a university setting – including curricular and extra-curricular activities.
Professional experience and strong demonstrated skills in facilitation, managing stakeholder relations, development, and stewardship.
Demonstrated skills and/or professional work experience involving community-engaged research activities and service learning.
