Eagle’s Wing Child Care and Education Programs is looking for a passionate assistant teacher to join our infant and toddler teaching team!

Eagle’s Wing is a highly diverse childcare center on the UW-Madison campus that provides early-childhood, 4K, and school-age programs for children from 6 weeks to 8 years old. We offer a high quality, child-initiated and play-based learning environment, and are known for our multicultural, international community. Our dedicated educators work in a supportive work environment, teaming with other teachers and UW student staff to role-model a multicultural, inclusive, and anti-bias approach to learning and educational environments.

• Primary schedule for this position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during the center’s hours of operation.
• Work schedule will be set with selected finalist(s) at time of offer.

• The starting hourly wage is $19.00 or higher based on qualifications, with a competitive retirement and benefits package, including vacation, holidays, and paid time off.

• Minimum of one (1) year working in full day play-based Early Childhood Education environments and completion of the Early Childhood Courses “Introduction to the Child Care Profession” and “Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care”

OR

• Successful completion of Associate’s Degree or higher, in Early Childhood Education.

• Training in High Scope, Pyramid Model, and/or Conscious Discipline
  Bilingual (English/Spanish)
