The primary responsibility of the Engineer II - Product role is to deliver innovative consumer products as part of a highly collaborative cross‑functional team. As a member of the Kitchen Sinks engineering team, you will apply creative problem‑solving and innovative design skills to both accessories and the kitchen sink itself. Neoroc composite, stainless steel, enameled cast iron, and fireclay materials each present unique challenges as we explore customer needs and solve the everyday problems consumers experience in one of the most heavily used spaces in the home.
Please review the details below and consider joining this collaborative and supportive team.
You will be responsible for completing project assignments by following a phase‑gate development process and understanding how engineering activities interweave with cross‑functional deliverables. Your engineering work will focus on idea generation and risk mitigation for basic subassemblies, systems, and processes. You will contribute to new product design through value analysis, with a complementary focus on cost optimization. Working under the general direction of an engineering manager, you will be expected to independently manage responsibilities and execute tasks associated with complex assignments, while demonstrating strong time‑management skills and technical knowledge.
