We welcome you to join Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove as a Quality Engineer II as a key member of the Sub-Zero Fabrication Business Unit leading a team of quality tech’s in manufacturing fabrication, reporting to the functional Quality Department.

Primary Responsibilities- Leading a team of quality tech’s – training, developing, ensuring the team has all the tools and direction to be successful.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) leading measurement and data driven decision making for the team- (Measure link, Minitab).
- Identify trends, determine root cause, and develop corrective actions.
- Leading & facilitating process improvement methods (LEAN)
- Daily review of key quality indicators to drive change at a preventative level with communication to the team.
- Develop quality roadmap - research, recommend, and implement new equipment, tools, training that improves product quality, consistency, and performance.
- Continually develop quality system requirements for new or revised products, and manufacturing processes.
- Daily reporting out to all levels of the organization up to executive level
- Bachelor's degree or better
- 5 + years’ experience within manufacturing/ quality engineering role (full time on the job).
- Experience with quality principles, systems, methods, tools, standards, improvement systems.
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis methods to drive manufacturing process control and improvement.
- 2+ years managing/leading direct reports.
- Experience with LEAN Manufacturing principles.
- American Society for Quality Certified Quality Engineer Certification preferred.
- Project management preferred.
