Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize electrical and mechanical components for the Turboflue machines, including weld heads, wiring, and structural assemblies.
• Ensure that department production requirements are met; and that any backlog is at an acceptable level.
• Conduct performance, durability, and safety tests on Turboflue equipment.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams (Design team, Operations, Supply Chain) to ensure seamless product development and production.
• Work with 3 rd party vendors to assist with repairs and improvements to machines.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in existing Turboflue machines.
• Assist in trouble‑shooting and the repairing of other production machines and equipment.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Electrical experience preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Works, AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, thermal systems, and mechanical design principles.
• Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., UL, CE) and energy‑efficiency regulations.
• Experience with hands‑on repairs and machining.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with IoT‑enabled appliances or smart control systems.
• Background in manufacturing processes and cost optimization.
