Electronics Technician

Electronics Technician – 12 Month+ Contract role. Responsibilities include supporting operations and maintenance of EDM equipment and performing I&C tasks across nuclear sites. Training will be conducted in July 2026 at the Westinghouse Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA, followed by site assignments.

• Perform I&C tasks: installing, calibrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation, control circuits, PLCs, sensors, and automated process control systems.
• Operate, set up and program ZAP EDM sinker machines for precision manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with engineering and production teams to support manufacturing operations.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain equipment logs.
• Perform instrumentation testing using digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and customer supplier equipment/simulators.
• Interpret drawings and implement test procedures.
• Operate electronic and electrical test equipment.
• Read and follow drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions for assembling/testing electronics units, applying knowledge of basic electronic theory and components.
• Learn, understand, and practice the appropriate quality, health, and safety procedures applicable to each work assignment.

• Strong military background with experience in electronics work is preferred (Electronics Technicians, Avionics Specialists or similar).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with precision equipment.
• Familiarity with ZAP EDM or similar sinker/wire EDM is a major plus.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent job experience required.
• Prefer 2+ years of similar work experience.
• Field cable installation work is required.

Base salary range: $50.00/hour to $55.00/hour, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills.
