Position Title: Civil Airports Engineer / Project Manager
Location: Madison, WI
Position Type: Full time
Responsibilities- Lead and oversee detailed design of airport infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, buildings, and utilities
- Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout all phases of project delivery
- Prepare comprehensive construction plans and specifications while actively contributing to project estimation and budgeting to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
- Partner with clients, planners, and engineers to define project scopes, develop task hour budgets, create schedules, prepare fee proposals, and lead federal and state grant application and management efforts
- Stay at the forefront of industry excellence by mastering the latest airport design standards and innovative procedures
- Create and foster an empowered team environment by embracing individual accountability and contributing collaboratively to shared success
- Demonstrated experience leading planning, design, and execution of complex airport, FAA, and WisDOT projects, applying deep expertise in construction standards and methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline
- Professional Engineer license in the state of Wisconsin, or ability to obtain within six months
- Proven success managing airport design and construction projects and leading cross-functional teams from concept to completion
- Ten (10) years of demonstrated experience leading planning, design, and execution of complex airport, FAA, and WisDOT projects
- Proven experience in proposal writing and client management with demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities and win project proposals
Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $125,000 to $150,000 based on skill set and experience.
Due to current business and operational considerations, this position is only open to candidates residing in Madison, WI.
The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
