By designing the future—today—our Entry Level CADD Technician in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, will help create solutions for municipal water and wastewater treatment projects.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will work with our team of CAD Designers, Engineers, Project Management and leadership to develop accurate design models and drawings, including sketches, models, construction documents and water and wastewater systems drawings. You will apply CADD software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT, Bentley Micro Station and Open Buildings Designer, and follow CAD standards and best practices to support facility design projects.
Requirements- Associate degree from an accredited technical institution or college in mechanical and computer drafting or a similar program
- 0–2 years of experience with 2D and 3D computer‑aided design and drafting platforms common to infrastructure design and construction
- Experience with water and wastewater systems design drawings
- Familiarity with CAD standards
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills, a detail‑oriented approach and a commitment to delivering work products that are clear, accurate and of high quality
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment
- Deadline‑oriented mindset
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, and/or instrumentation and controls drafting
- Hands‑on mechanical skills, gained through education, professional or personal experience, that can be leveraged into design and construction for municipal projects

SalaryThe base salary range for this position is $55,400.00 to $75,000.00. Pay is hourly based on hours worked, with individual compensation determined by job‑related skills, experience and education.
