Site Civil Team Lead

Site Civil Team Lead – Madison, WI / Milwaukee, WI

Lead a team of Site Civil Engineers, EITs, and Designers on complex data center and mission‑critical projects within HDR’s Building Engineering Services Design Center.

• Provide overall leadership to the team, including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control, and marketing support.
• Take administrative responsibility for team staff and technical service functions, and coordinate with other sections.
• Engage in marketing planning and proposal scope and fee development.
• Interact directly with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues.
• Ensure all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management systems.
• Implement, monitor and support company policies.
• Select, train, develop and manage technical and production personnel.
• Lead coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• Commitment to an active participant of the employee‑owned culture.

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and other civil engineering software as appropriate.
