Description
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
- Independently create, develop, and maintain accurate 3D BIM models from site walk information, original drawings, satellite images, design outputs, and field data using Revit and/or AutoCAD software
- Apply industry-related BIM standards, execution plans, naming conventions, and data exchange protocols for telecom and/or infrastructure projects
- Perform clash detection, identify and resolve model conflicts, and manage changes through the RFI process in coordination with project stakeholders
- Work closely with design manager, engineers, and project team to coordinate multi-discipline model integration; attend coordination meetings and update models per project directives
- Prepare shop drawings, as-built models, and construction documentation; adhere to company BIM standards, templates, and file management guidelines throughout project lifecycle
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Certificate/Degree from college or technical school in BIM, CAD, Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field is preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant BIM modeling experience in telecom, infrastructure, MEP, or construction industries is preferred; on-site construction experience a plus
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD (latest version preferred); experience with Bentley Open Buildings, Tekla, or ArchiCAD is a plus; familiarity with Dynamo or scripting for workflow automation is desirable.
- Ability to read and understand multi-discipline drawings (architectural, structural, civil, MEP) and coordinate across trades within a BIM environment
- Proficient with clash detection and coordination tools including Navisworks and/or BIM 360; familiarity with Solibri or similar platforms is a plus; working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Familiar with project management platforms and cloud-based collaboration tools; able to manage uploading, downloading, and version control of BIM model data and related documentation
