SEH is currently searching for a Civil Airports Engineer / Project Manager to join our talented Airports team!

This Opportunity:
- Lead and oversee detailed design of airport infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, buildings, and utilities
- Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout all phases of project delivery
- Prepare comprehensive construction plans and specifications while actively contributing to project estimation and budgeting to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
- Partner with clients, planners and engineers to define project scopes, develop task hour budgets, create schedules, prepare fee proposals, and lead federal and state grant application and management efforts
- Stay at the forefront of industry excellence by mastering the latest airport design standards and innovative procedures
- Create and foster an empowered team environment by embracing individual accountability and contributing collaboratively to shared success
- This opportunity is open to candidates residing in Madison, WI
Essential
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience leading planning, design, and execution of complex airport, FAA, and WisDOT projects, applying deep expertise in construction standards and methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline, demonstrating strong foundational knowledge and technical acumen
- Professional Engineer license in the state of Wisconsin, or ability to obtain within six months
- Proven success managing airport design and construction projects and leading cross-functional teams from concept to completion
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of demonstrated experience leading planning, design, and execution of complex airport, FAA, and WisDOT projects, applying deep expertise in construction standards and methodologies
- Proven experience in proposal writing and client management with demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities and win project proposals
Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $125,000 and $150,000 based on skill set and experience. Check out our full benefits package at SEH Hiring Journey.
