Mi-Tech is looking for an OSP Designer I to join our team. The role involves interpreting customer-provided route proposals and incorporating them into Outside Plant (OSP) designs, acquiring field data, and creating construction and permitting drawings in AutoCAD.
Responsibilities- Interpret customer route proposals and integrate them into OSP designs.
- Acquire field data and incorporate the data into AutoCAD drawings.
- Associate features correctly and create construction and permitting drawings.
- Determine construction unit descriptions and complete design of OSP projects (aerial, buried, underground).
- Prepare construction unit and material summaries and assist with ROW permitting and submittals.
- Ensure all deliverable documents are complete before project hand‑off.
- Support fiber/copper counts and work with customer software tools.
- 2–3 years of related experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, GIS, and AutoCAD.
- OSP telecom experience (preferred).
- Detail‑focused, well organized, and good problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
