About the RoleWe seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead structural design efforts, collaborate with senior staff, and deliver innovative solutions for a wide range of building projects. You will work closely with engineers, consultants, and clients to ensure high-quality engineering analysis, design, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities- Lead the analysis and design of structural systems
, preparing calculations, specifications, and construction documents in compliance with codes. - Support project execution through planning, budgeting, and scheduling
- Document design decisions, track progress, and monitor project budgets and timelines
- Analyze engineering challenges and develop innovative, practical solutions
- Conduct design reviews and ensure adherence.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Identify project risks and elevate issues to the Project Manager as needed
- Oversee projects through the full lifecycle
, including:- Design development
- Construction documentation
- Construction administration (submittals, RFIs, site observations)
- Uphold safety, ethics, and professional standards in all work
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 8 years of experience (10+ preferred) in building design consulting
- Strong knowledge of:
- Structural systems and load paths
- Materials (steel, concrete, wood, masonry)
- Engineering mechanics and design standards
- Proficiency in structural design and analysis software
- Experience producing technical plans and specifications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel up to 15% (including occasional overnight stays)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Structural Engineer (SE) license or progress toward certification
- Experience mentoring or training junior engineers
