Are you a Mechanical Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems and wants to directly impact the future of clean energy and life-saving medical technology?

Job Description:

We are scaling up to tackle one of the most important engineering challenges of our time, and we need a talented Mechanical Engineer to help us build the future. We are constructing a massive, cutting-edge facility dedicated to producing life-saving medical isotopes and advancing clean fusion technology.

As a key member of our Auxiliary Systems engineering group, you will take true ownership of critical mechanical systems like HVAC, nitrogen handling, and compressed oxygen. You will not just be a cog in a machine; you will be taking designs from concept through vendor fabrication, site walk-downs, and construction installation at an active, highly regulated facility. If you are ready to apply your expertise to a mission that will protect the health and well-being of the general public, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Take full ownership of critical mechanical systems, including HVAC, nitrogen gas handling, compressed oxygen, and nitrogen purge gas systems.
  • Prepare, review, and issue comprehensive design packages, specifications, drawings, test plans, and calculations.
  • Provide vendor oversight for procurement, reviewing design documentation and participating in Factory and Site Acceptance Tests.
  • Coordinate closely with the Construction team to resolve field inquiries, perform walk-downs of installed equipment, and ensure accurate installation.
  • Ensure all piping routing and isometric designs meet stringent design basis requirements and our rigorous quality program standards.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of relevant project experience in a professional engineering setting.
  • A strong foundation in calculation-based capabilities with the ability to perform fundamental calculations by hand.
  • Experience with hot pipe analysis and a solid understanding of the ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code.

We are a team united by a common goal to deliver innovative solutions in a collaborative, safety-first environment. With major funding secured and our engineering team actively growing, this role offers incredible stability, a competitive compensation package, and the potential for real career advancement. If you are ready to make a lasting impact, apply now to join us!
