Responsibilities
- The person in this position will be responsible for leading project teams of 2-3 engineers and will provide technical expertise and project oversight
- Design and plan production for a wide variety of civil engineering projects including the development of site plan layouts, grading and drainage plans, site paving plans, site utility design, and associated civil engineering activities
- Prepare stormwater management designs, calculations, and reports to meet local government agency standards
- Provide design coordination with other engineering disciplines and architectural project leads
- Prepare specifications and contract documents
- Assist project teams with the procurement of site development related approvals and permits
- Prepare quantity take‑off calculations and cost estimates, if required
- Perform complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures
- Plan and develop projects or design activities that have significant impact on major company programs as needed
- Serve as a Project Manager on larger projects, although project management is not the sole focus of this position
- Perform other duties as needed
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, Auto Cad, Civil 3D, Hydro Cad, and other civil engineering software as appropriate
- Willingness to work with and lead project teams
- Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 10 years design experience managing various civil/site design projects
- Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example:
Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license. - Project Engineering and Project Management experience

Expected compensation range:
Minnesota: $123,480 - $176,400
Primary location:
United States-Minnesota-Saint Louis Park. Other locations:
United States-Wisconsin-Madison, United States-Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
