As an Engineer-in-Training, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on a diverse range of municipal and private-sector projects, supporting clients such as local governments, utilities, food and beverage manufacturers, and industrial facilities. You'll gain hands-on experience in planning, design, and engineering analysis while contributing to solutions for complex wastewater treatment and water quality challenges. Because our team collaborates across offices nationwide, you'll have opportunities to support projects and clients throughout the country, broadening your technical expertise and professional network.

In the role of Wastewater Design Engineer in Training, we'll count on you to:
Create planning level, preliminary, and detailed designs of water-focused systems under instruction from a Project Engineer or person in charge Prepare deliverables for water or water resources-focused systems, write specifications, analysis, modeling, and study-level reports, determine appropriate design methods, possible equipment sizing and selection, and work directly with our Clients to deliver an outstanding experience Perform as part of a quality assurance team and conduct quality control reviews of completed deliverables Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related Engineering field 3-5 years of experience with municipal or industrial wastewater treatment and treatment process design Experience working on food and beverage, manufacturing, life sciences, semiconductor, data center, or other industrial wastewater projects Experience working on large multidisciplinary wastewater projects Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities AutoCAD and/or Micro Station experience Microsoft Office experience Must be able to work in a team environment An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
