As a result of our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity available for a limited-term, full-time summer Electrical Engineering intern starting May/June 2027 and ending in August/September 2027 with our Architecture & Building Engineering (A&BE) Group. The A&BE Group focuses on the design of buildings for airport, government, and private clients. This internship is available at our office location in Madison, WI.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting engineers and design technicians with electrical engineering projects
  • Performing design calculations, quantities, and cost estimates
  • Assisting with preparing project reports
  • May also perform field inspections on occasion
  • Other tasks as assigned

A valid driver’s license and minimal travel will be required.

Successful candidates must have completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in electrical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university.

The ideal candidate may have any/all the following:
  • Experience with Revit, AGI-32, Easypower, and/or SKM PTW software
  • Previous electrical building design coursework
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
