Project Management Internship (Madison, WI)

As a Project Management Intern at Westphal & Company, you'll step into the heart of electrical construction and see what it's like to work with one of the Midwest's top electrical contractors. You won't be standing on the sidelines-you'll be learning, contributing, and growing as part of a team that builds with purpose and pride. You'll rotate through key parts of the construction process, supporting our teams on real projects that make a real impact.

What You Will Do

• Learn the ins and outs of electrical construction.
• Get familiar with thematerialthatmakesupelectrical work.
• Organize submittals and O&M manuals to keep projects running smoothly.
• Process submittals and cross-check specifications.
• Assist with project schedule creation.
• Introduction to job site financials.
• Help write and process RFI's (Requests for Information).
• Process material and tool requests to support ourcrews.
• Create daily reports and take on-site photos.
• Attend project meetings with PMs to see teamwork in action.
• Assist with takeoffs and change order estimating.
• Connect with vendors before bid day and help organize quotes.
• Do some data mining and drawing updates to keep our info sharp.

Who You Are

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree.

This internship is based at our Headquarters in Madison, WI. You'll also have opportunities to visit active job sites to see how the work comes together in the field. Be ready to balance time at your desk with time on-site.
