Job Description:

The On-Field Emcee for the Madison Night Mares will be the heartbeat of our game-day entertainment, bringing non-stop energy and excitement to the field! If you're passionate about live events, sports, and creating unforgettable fan experiences, this is the perfect role for you. As the On-Field Emcee, you'll keep the crowd buzzing and engaged by hosting fun on-field games, leading cheers and chants, and facilitating exciting promotions and giveaways.

You'll play a vital role in delivering an electric atmosphere that keeps our Night Mares fan base pumped and motivated all season long!

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary on-field host for all home games
• Interact with the crowd, leading cheers, chants, and fan participation activities to keep the energy level high throughout the game.
• Engage with fans of all ages
• Facilitate in-game promotions, sponsor activations, and giveaways
• Host on-field promotions, such as trivia games, dance-offs, and on-field challenges in between innings
• Conduct post-game interviews with players and coaches
• Highlight important moments and offer insights that enhance the fan experience
• Represent the Night Mares in a positive and professional manner, building relationships with local fans, sponsors, and community members

Qualifications:

• Must be comfortable and confident speaking to large crowds, with a natural ability to engage, entertain, and connect with diverse audiences
• A positive, upbeat personality with a love for sports and a passion for creating memorable experiences for fans
• Experience in hosting, emceeing, public speaking, or similar roles is preferred
• Experience in sports, live events, or customer-facing roles is a plus
• Ability to think on your feet and communicate clearly and effectively in a live, fast-paced environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with the marketing team
• Availability to work all home games, including evenings and weekends, throughout the season
• Must be able to stand for long periods, walk around the field/stadium, and engage in various activities throughout the game
• Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions, including hot or rainy days
