The Commercial Loan Servicing Intern at One Community Bank will engage in a comprehensive learning experience focused on the bank's commercial loan servicing functions-from disbursement to maturity, payoff, and satisfaction. This role involves processing loan statements and notices, collaborating with a property tax tracking vendor to verify parcel numbers and payouts, and managing paid files to prepare satisfactions. Additionally, the intern will coordinate with a hazard insurance tracking vendor to ensure that proper hazard insurance policies are maintained, while efficiently scanning, indexing, and filing all essential loan documents to uphold accurate physical and digital files.
A critical responsibility will also include reviewing daily reports to identify and correct any errors from the previous day, providing a thorough understanding of the commercial lending process and enhancing attention to detail within a professional banking environment.
To excel as a Commercial Loan Servicing Intern at One Community Bank, candidates should be actively pursuing a degree in Finance, demonstrating a foundational understanding of banking principles. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, enabling the intern to navigate complex tasks and contribute effectively to the lending process.
