Job DescriptionOur Development & Community Advisory team is looking for a Manager to deliver industry‑focused financial consulting services to developers and other stakeholders of multi‑family housing. The role involves working side‑by‑side with firm leadership to serve clients, build the business, and directly impact the firm’s success.
What You Will Do- Manage relationships with clients, staff and various entities involved in real‑estate transactions.
- Structure transactions and perform financial modeling.
- Assist in securing financing and equity sources, and negotiate surrounding these sources.
- Write, edit and organize work products, including client reports and funding applications.
- Support acquisition, preservation, disposition and recapitalization strategies for real‑estate portfolios.
- Prepare application materials and structure credits for low‑income housing tax credits.
- Develop and manage staff activities.
- Provide support in developing presentations, responses to requests for proposals, pitch books and proposals.
- Research industry and technical issues, compile data, and present findings.
- Provide general consulting to assist clients in achieving their objectives.
- 4‑year degree.
- 5 years of professional experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of low‑income housing tax credit experience (e.g., underwriting, modeling, developing, consulting).
- Tax credit application experience in at least one of:
Indiana, Michigan, North Cincinnati, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee. - Understanding of real‑estate financials and operating performance.
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project‑management and communication skills.
- Highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel).
- Ability to provide exceptional client service and commitment to continuous learning.
US National pay rate range: $59,400 – $236,800. Compensation is influenced by applicant skills, experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.
