Job Summary
Goldstein Advisors is a client‑centric Registered Investment Advisor dedicated to empowering our clients and team members to live with confidence, clarity, and peace of mind. We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Office Coordinator to join our team. This mid‑level role will manage the internal and external operations for our client tax practice, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our firm’s clients.
The position requires extensive judgment as you oversee the entire process from start to finish.
- Manage the process for preparation, review, and timely filing of tax documents (e.g., Forms 1099, W-2s, K-1s) for clients and the firm.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients’ tax inquiries, coordinate the gathering and verifying of financial data to ensure accurate tax reporting, while exercising discretion in handling sensitive client information.
- Evaluate and refine tax administration procedures, using analytical techniques to identify inefficiencies and implement technology or workflow solutions to streamline operations.
- Coordinate the billing process for all tax revenue, ensuring timely invoicing and cash flow for the firm.
- Exercise significant judgment to ensure compliance with IRS and SEC regulations with respect to the preparation and filing of client tax returns.
- Required:
High School Diploma. A Bachelor’s Degree or higher is a plus. - 2-4 years in a related role at an RIA or public accounting firm.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for building meaningful client relationships.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Commitment to fiduciary responsibility, ethical conduct, and client‑first principles.
Internal applicants must be in good standing and have a minimum of 1 year of service with Kestra. Internal applicants must also have a minimum of 1 year service in current role unless approved by EVP.
